Director of Pharmacy, Specialty Services Memorial Healthcare Owosso, MI As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Director ofPharmacy, Specialty Services,at Memorial Healthcare located in Owosso, Michigan, you will be responsible for overseeing both the specialty and retail pharmacy service lines within the hospital. Duties include: Ensuring patient pharmaceutical needs are effectively met by establishing policies, procedures, standards, and objectives for the provision of services Overseeing the integration of the specialty pharmacy practice by coordinating resources to provide maximum level of services to patients and customers Actively participating in building CPS Solutions, LLC Specialty Pharmacy services relationship with the customer by acting as a key customer contact Planning, organizing, and directing the specialty pharmacy department efforts to monitor the quality of staff performance and effectiveness of pharmacy programs Managing site finances and participating in departmental budget preparation. Responsible for expense and revenue performance of specialty pharmacies in health systems Ensuring patient safety by managing medication use processes including prescribing, dispensing, administering, and monitoring patient outcomes Supervising, educating, and evaluating staff members Maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies Preparing and submitting productivity reports Periodic consultation with practitioners in the field (i.e., nurses, prescribers) Schedule:This full time, exempt position will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. About the Facility: Memorial Healthcare-Owosso is a 150-bed hospital and healthcare organization which operates an extensive ambulatory care practice serving the greater Shiawassee County area. Services range from Primary Care for the whole family to Specialty and Outpatient Pharmacy services. Memorial has a robust transition of care program which assists with prior authorizations, meds to beds, and patient counseling. Future plans include expansion of the Outpatient Pharmacy to outlying clinical areas to better serve community needs. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this specialty pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC. About the Pharmacy: Specialty pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm and utilizes Pioneer Rx software. Required Qualifications: BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy Current Michigan pharmacist license in good standing or the ability to obtain one 5+ years of experience in a pharmacy supervisory position in a hospital or retail setting Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services. Leadership, administrative, human resource, and managerial skills required including the demonstrated ability to effectively participate in interdisciplinary teams and committees Administration of the 340B program Proficient in the use and application of new medications and technology Effective verbal and written communication skills Problem solving ability and analytical thinking required Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systemsHospital Requirements (may be required): (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity Hep B3 Series (or declination) Fit Mask Test Physical COVID Vaccine-Full Benefits:All employees enjoy a competitive salary, eligibility to participate in the 401(k) savings plan with a match.
