Job Summary


The Marketing Coordinator occupies an important role in our day-to-day operations, including direct involvement in the production of magazines, newsletters, videos, promotional materials, websites and tradeshow/conference materials.


Qualifications


Effective communication, written and spoken, is vital for conveying deadlines and creative/media specifications but also for making decisions, solving problems, and ensuring that everyone in the production process is on the same page. This role involves communicating and building relationships with internal and external customers every day.


Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs ensures that the Marketing Coordinator can update, improve and create art files in collaboration with our graphic design partners and spot resolution discrepancies and other technical issues.


Excellent organizational skills underpin all marketing projects and activities and are a crucial strength for the Marketing Coordinator to keep operations running smoothly.


Job Specifics


Publications/Paid Media


  • Assist in the creation and management of production schedules which consist of numerous Excel sheets with the who, what and when
  • Manage advertising schedules by adding/removing reservations as needed and by allocating the time necessary to collect ad materials from customers within the given timeframe
  • Assess customers' ad materials to confirm they meet desired specifications (e.g. format, size) and are free from grammatical errors. Employ tools from Adobe Creative Cloud to execute repairs or polishing of materials.
  • Build the BONEZONE eNewsletters with customer ads, house ads and content; coordinate proofing; send and archive the issue
  • Assist the Senior Editor with the production of BONEZONE Magazine which includes ad materials collection, minor graphic design work and liaising with the printer and internal staff for fulfillment (shipping and publishing online)
  • Build and update company profiles for the Supplier Directory; collect materials for the listings; seek customer approval of the listing; assess the listing for appearance and SEO and make/recommend improvements


ORTHOWORLD Communications/Marketing


  • Serve as primary coordinator and/or graphic designer for the design, layout and publishing of various internal marketing items such as the BONEZONE Media Kit, the OMTEC Exhibitor Prospectus and Final Program and print and digital display ads
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for dozens of items related to OMTEC such as onsite signage, customer-branded sponsorship items (napkins, notepads, bottles, bags, table tents)
