Marketing Coordinator


Job Details

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing and expanding relationships in media channels has a heavy focus on staying current with marketing trends. This role is responsible for trade show management, which includes promotional planning, lead generation and the tracking of all sales and marketing metrics.



CORE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Create content for a wide variety of marketing platforms including; brochures/slicks, website copy, video scripts, white papers, blog and social media content, and product/service introductions
  • Plan and coordinate tradeshow activities across products and areas of business from end-to-end.
  • Attend customer events and trade shows.
  • Organize and maintain all trade show displays, materials and premiums.
  • Increase followers and engagement through multiple social media sites using captivating content and copy within a robust monthly posting schedule. Provide weekly and monthly analytical reports.
  • Assist with recording metrics for frequent sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Work with vendors to order marketing collateral and promotional items.
  • Assist Creative Director with a wide range of administrative responsibilities such as scheduling customer promotions and collateral development, managing the annual events calendar and organizing the Surface Shields collateral library.
  • Write blog posts and articles for publications 1-2 times per month.
  • Update company CRM system with accurate customer and prospect data to improve email marketing and increase conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with sales team for advertising, branding videos and product development concepts.
  • Assist with assembling mailers, signage requests and sample binders as needed.
  • Manage product data and populate comprehensive customer data portals with information required to on-board new skus.
  • Responsible for providing new, innovative and creative ideas pertaining to graphic design from concept to implementation for electronic and traditional media.
  • Create and publish print and digital advertisements, email campaigns, sales presentations, reports and trade show signage to increase product awareness.
  • Create original content in support of lead generation, brand awareness and overall business and marketing goals.
  • Prepare product samples to be sent to customers and trade shows.
  • Ship all marketing materials to trade shows and customer visits.
  • Provide back up support for inside sales, customer data entry, phone and system support.
  • All other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS:


Possession of a college degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is required. At least 1 year of experience in Marketing or Event Planning is preferred. Required skills include Microsoft Office, with skills in Salesforce, Pipeliner or Sugar CRM preferred. Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload, project deadlines, and possess excellent time management skills. Extensive customer service skills, a high level of professionalism and willingness to handle all planning and details of projects and events, always displaying high energy and a positive attitude. Must thrive in a challenging and fast paced atmosphere where prioritizing and multi-tasking are the norm. Ability to adhere to timelines and turnaround work within tight schedules. Exceptional attention to detail and first-class organizational skills are mandatory. Attitude and spirit are valued and must possess a do whatever it takes mentality which includes working independently and cooperatively as a team member, pitching in to help colleagues when needed. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. use of protective gear). Must have the ability to travel both domestically and internationally, so the ability to travel by plane and operate a motor vehicle is required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver s license and driving record which are acceptable to our insurance provider. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and overnight travel is required.
