**Description**
ARCH Medical Solutions is seeking an Assembler/ Manual Machinist to join our team in Seabrook, NH. At ARCH our comprehensive benefits package truly sets us apart. **Purpose:**
Perform the assembly of known and new instruments including rough and finish assembly.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Perform bending of metals including cold and heat bending.
* Perform thermal pressing of handles.
* Perform die cutting and hand cutting on non-metallic components.
* Perform manual machining.
* Fabricate fixtures for bend/weld.
* Use grey and red wheels, bead blasting and hand tools.
* Perform in process inspections.
* Detect and report discrepancies or questionable conditions to the department lead.
* Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
* Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.
* Must be able to perform the following finishing functions: Bead blast, Red and Grey Wheel, Satin/Matte Finishing, Dremel, Filing, and Bata Sander.
* Must be familiar with the equipment functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.
* Works independently, requires little or no supervision.
* Responsible for assuring that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.
**Education and Experience:**
* High school diploma or GED required
* 2 years of experience in related field
**Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
* Familiarity with the use of manual milling/drilling and lathe/turning operations
* Experience and/or training required in shop math, blueprint reading, measurement of parts.
* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
* Strong interpersonal skills including, but not limited to, contributing to a team-oriented environment, balancing team and individual responsibilities, and keeping emotions under control.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Exceptional hand/eye coordination.
**Physical Demands:**
* Light to moderate physical exertion required
* Lifting/carrying Maximum lbs: 30
* Regularly required to stand, reach and move about the facility
