Rapidly growing packaging supply distributor based in New Jersey. We specialize in providing high-quality packaging solutions to a diverse range of clients, ensuring efficiency and reliability in their packaging needs. We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Purchaser/Buyer to join our team. The Purchaser will play a vital role in selecting and procuring product lines on behalf of the company. This position is pivotal in ensuring a consistent supply of stock, contributing significantly to our company's success and growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Source and select products from suppliers that align with our quality standards.
  • Negotiate and secure competitive prices and terms with suppliers.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams to meet customer demands.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of products and compliance with the contracts of purchase.


Qualifications:

  • Purchasing Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Excellent Communication skills, with competent writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrable aptitude in effective negotiating.
  • Up to speed with purchasing best practices.

Job Specifics:

  • Full-time
  • Salary: $22-$28 an hour
  • Benefits: Health insurance, PTO
  • National & Jewish Holidays
  • Schedule: 8-hour shift, M-F, 40 hours a week.
