Project Manager

Smart Building Technologies is seeking a strong Project Manager to join our team! The Project Manager will oversee the installation and completion of larger (smaller) scale projects. You must be a multi-tasker who has excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, and can effectively manage a team to finish their work efficiently and within deadlines. At the start of each project, you will collaborate with sales and GM/VP to discuss the scope and budget. Then you will monitor each phase, ensuring the staff works efficiently and that the final product meets our client's expectations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Determine project roles, responsibilities, and deadlines for each team member
• Provide all necessary contract documents to Accounting
• Solicit subcontractor bids and award Sub Agreements
• Work with inhouse design team to determine cost effective approach and control materials within specifications
• Manage relationship with the client and all project stakeholders
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors Coordinate purchase and delivery of control materials
• Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documents

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• Additional degrees or certifications a plus
• 3-5 years of prior technical or project management experience is desired
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to travel to job site in the DMV area - no additional travel required!
• Familiar with MS Office Suite
• Flexible schedule
