Finance Manager


Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team. They will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and implementing effective financial controls. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Accounting and Operations for multiple revenue streams and possess a strong understanding of financial management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain a robust system of internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Financial Operations & Revenue Recognition / Subscription Management:

  • Effectively pay employees and vendors and collect cash from customers
  • Own the financial systems including the AP tools, Payroll
  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition for multiple revenue streams.
  • Monitor deferred revenue accounts and manage revenue forecasting processes.

Compliance and Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

Cash Management:

  • Oversee cash flow planning and ensure adequate funds are available for day-to-day operations.
  • Be responsible for ensuring compliance with debt reporting requirements.

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 4-7 years of experience in the finance industry
  • Strong knowledge of US accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Experience working with QBO, Rippling, Ramp
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change.
