** Quality Material Handler**
Location: Columbus, US The Hirschvogel Group is among the most successful manufacturers of forged steel and aluminum parts. More than 6,000 employees worldwide produce forged parts and components for the automotive industry and its system suppliers. At our plant in Columbus, Ohio/USA more than 300 employees manufacture automotive parts in large-series production by means of forging and machining.
We are currently looking for experienced Material Handlers in the Columbus area.
2nd Shift Hours - Monday-Friday 3pm- 11:15pm
**Your tasks:**
**Specific responsibilities:**
Material handling and transportation of steel product
Operate floor scale
Understand route cards
Communication within, and with other departments/shifts
Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts (check list)
Follows SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)
Filling in for press operators as needed
Sorting of non-confirming product (as required)
Perform all duties deemed necessary by superior
**Requirements:**
* Warehouse or Manufacturing Experience
* Forklift certification
* Overhead crane certification
