ATI has a current need for a Construction Inspector/Quality Assurance Representative for a large Federal project in Arlington, Virginia
ATI offers a competitive benefit package for a Construction Inspector:
Competitive salary of $110,000 - $130,000/year depending on experience;

Required Qualifications for a Construction Inspector:
The candidate must have significant experience performing field inspections on the full range of construction activities necessary to construct the project and support necessary contract administration tasks. Position requirements include:
More than 15 years of experience as a construction inspector on large complex multimillion dollar DoD or Federal construction projects;
Experience with USACE's 3-Phase QC/Inspection process, EM 385-1-1 USACE Safety Manual, and the Resident Management System (RMS) is highly preferred;
Position requires frequent and recurring construction inspections, which includes walking, climbing, stooping, and bending at various elevations and uneven terrain;
Knowledge and experience with relevant software including Microsoft Word and Excel;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high level of professionalism; and
US citizenship and the ability to pass a background check in a timely manner.
Duties of a Construction Inspector:
Review and comment on Contractor submittals;
Review and comment on Contractor workplans;
Review and comment on Contractor RFIs;
Observe Contractor performance daily and record/report on observations;
Attend meetings as required;
Inspect Contractor plant, materials, and equipment daily;
Review Contractor QC Reports daily;
Take photographic documentation as appropriate; and
Review Contractor punchlists.
