Job Details
As a Warehouse Manager, you will oversee a team of warehouse personnel, including supervisors, pickers, packers, and forklift operators. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring efficient operations, maintaining safety protocols, and optimizing material flow for production.
Personnel Management:
- Supervise and lead the warehouse team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels to support efficient material handling.
Safety and Equipment:
- Ensure associates are trained to safely operate material handling equipment.
- Provide appropriate equipment and racking systems for safe transport and storage of materials.
Process Monitoring:
- Monitor paperwork flow from receiving to inventory control, ensuring timely data entry.
- Properly store materials to conserve space and comply with safety guidelines.
Shipping and Reporting:
- Monitor shipping accuracy, receiving reporting, and material movement.
- Facilitate transfers to production or shipments as needed.
Communication and Training:
- Communicate and address personnel, equipment, and paperwork issues promptly.
- Provide training to team members, emphasizing safety protocols and operational procedures.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse management.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Spanish
