eCommerce Pricing Strategy Specialist

Position Summary:
We are looking for energetic eCommerce Pricing Strategy Manager who is responsible for creating the pricing strategy for all of our pricing needs on our website and possibly on other platforms. You are responsible for developing pricing strategies based on supply, competitors, and vendors policies.
You provide leadership to drive the long-term strategies needed to achieve profitable eCommerce sales growth. This role should exhibit an understanding of what drives eCommerce sales from a pricing perspective and a passion for the user experience while balancing business acumen and technical ability to convert data into actionable solutions. This position reports to the Digital Merchandising Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities. You will work with the Purchasing Team and Ecommerce Team to ensure that products are always up to date with pricing.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze competitors and platform rules, assess inventory, and develop pricing strategies aligned with platform requirements.
- Update pricing and product listings as needed.
- Enhance accuracy in price comparisons, establish SOP, and improve pricing efficiency.
- Improve our pricing methods based on competitor and consumer insights.
- Identify software tools to gather, analyze, and interpret ecommerce data.
- Configure and maintain KPI s that track website pricing metrics.
- Develop dashboards and reports for management to provide insight, identify trends, and provide recommendations on customer and ecommerce insights.
- Collaborate with management on key content and product category strategies; analyze performance to inform how the customer is responding to new product launches and pricing and promotional strategies - providing insights on cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
- Collaborate with our vendors to obtain required pricing information and updates to their policies.
- Help to identify minimum inventory levels and make recommendations.
Required Skills:
- More than 3 years of experience in eCommerce developing and implement pricing strategies.
- Strong logical thinking and strategic pricing analytical abilities. You should be adept at utilizing data for pricing decision-making, capable of sourcing data independently or in collaboration with others.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to navigate work projects and tasks.
- Must have results-oriented approach. You should be able to delve into core pricing issues, set deadlines, collaborate with teams, and deliver solutions.
- Proficient in Shopify, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Excel required with strong understanding of analytical approaches to eCommerce and business planning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to efficiently meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 3+ years eCommerce experience developing pricing strategies.
