Overview:

Responsible for facilitating the management of the day to day financial and administrative tasks involving sponsored projects This includes from the initial proposal development process through the project close out for assigned faculty in assigned Department/Division. Responsible for working alongside others in Research Administration to ensure compliance with Hospital policies and sponsor regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Essential Function: Proposal Development Responsible for the initial creation and coordination of sponsored proposals through MyGrants (research administration systems)
  • Essential Function Post-Award financial management Responsible for the financial administration of assigned sponsored projects
  • Essential Function Post-Award non- financial management
  • - Ensures all research staff have evaluations completed timely by assisting Principal Investigators in completing evaluations and submitting via Infor Talent Management
  • Maintain a strong customer-service environment and participates collaboratively


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years experience 3+ years in providing financial management services on NIH and other federally funded grants or contracts directly for faculty & physicians in an academic research/hospital environment is required or
  • HS diploma or equivalent or Associates degree and 7 or more years experience accepted in lieu of a degree


Starting Pay:

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $29.26/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.



Remote Work/Work from Home:

This position is entirely remote or work-from-home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend on-site meetings, as scheduled.
