What you will do:
- Primary responsibility for managing specific tasks and closing teams within Division Settlement Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, monitor and drive processes between Title, Recording, Accounting, Mortgage, Sales and/or Construction.
- Develop best practices and procedures to ensure compliance with operations standards.
- Manage all incoming sales from contract to close.
- Execute documents as they relate to purchase on behalf of seller (i.e., sales contract, deeds, etc.). Manage all contract documents in Home Selections.
- Serve as point of contact for customer questions and concerns as needed owning customer escalation and problem solving.
- Ensure proper handling of all funds and closings.
- Audit sales contract and escrow process to ensure division compliance with company policies, local laws and practices.
- Ensures appropriate staffing to meet department needs.
- Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent.
- Delegates work according to employee's abilities and skills.
- Evaluates employee's performance and plans for compensation actions in accordance with that performance.
- Provides developmental opportunities through identification of internal and external training opportunities.
- Creates opportunities for employee growth.
- Provides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors).
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred/not required.
- Related experience with the closing process.
- Business acumen and excellent communication skills.
