Patient Access Representative Check IN
LHH Recruitment Solutions Inc. is currently in search for several Patient Access Representatives to join a major Healthcare company in the Flint, MI market. Our selected candidates will start ASAP.
Responsibilities:
Greets and interacts with patients in a friendly and polite manner.
Provides solutions for customers; troubleshoots as needed.
Will be assisting patients through check in process via kiosk machines, so need someone who can learn and navigate this technology and patiently assist customers through this process as well.
Only check in process that is fully paper based is for the Orthopedic team.
Perform accurate data entry of patient information through Electronic Medical Record system (eClinicalWorks)
Collect ID and insurance cards, scan ID cards, verify emergency contacts, preferred pharmacy locations, etc.
Assist with completing documents related to auto insurance or worker s comp as needed.
Maintain medical records and patient confidentiality.
Perform insurance verification.
Collect copays and outstanding balances.
Answer phone calls in a friendly and helpful manner
Register patients and schedule appointments.
Adheres to departments standards and PolicyStat policies.

Strong data entry skills
Ability to multitask, strong attention to detail
Friendly, empathetic, respectful, patient
Not afraid to ask questions (the team expects there to be questions and would much prefer that someone speak up and ask for clarification on a process instead of assuming on their own)
Logistics:
This role is contract to hire.
Fully on-site at Flint HQ
We are looking to pay $17 per hour to start.
