**MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY AND PERFORMANCE:**
Essential Duties:
Notify the Supervisor, County Sheriff, and/or Recreation Superintendent of any vandalism, misconduct or other offenses and notify the Recreation Superintendent of any damage or disrepair to any park facilities, equipment or other improvements.
Enforce Sweetwater County's shooting range rules and regulations. Make sure everyone at the shooting range understands the range rules.
Responsible for building/maintaining targets at the archery and shooting range and placing targets on the range.
Responsible for loading and maintaining the trap machines
Keep the park, parking lots and public right-of-ways clear of litter. Empty garbage cans in appropriate containers.
Be informed of scheduled events at assigned recreation facility and post in appropriate location.
Clean all facilities and improvements, including but not limited to, tables, garbage cans and other amenities as needed. Keep same in safe operable condition.
Inform Recreation Superintendent of supplies and any maintenance needs in advance.
Provide security for park facilities, including but not limited to, the locking of doors, gates, restrooms, etc. at designated times.
It is the Shooting Sports Attendant's responsibility to notify the Recreation Superintendent when not available to perform duties.
Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.**PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:** To monitor the shooting range, archery range and trap club activities, provide security and maintenance.
**EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:**
High School Diploma or Equivalent; Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
**EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:**
Must be familiar and have experience with, but not limited to, the following equipment:
Vehicles: Pickups and 1-ton trucks
Equipment: tractors, trailers and mowers (both hand and riding)
Tools: gas and electric powered (hand and mechanical)
Basic Preventative Maintenance of Above Equipment
