Luxury Retail Sales Manager


Job Details

The Sales Manager will lead, develop, and support the sales professionals to meet and/or exceed sales plans for the fiscal year. The manager should be an energetic, attentive, and inspiring leader who builds relationships with external clients, in addition, this person should be someone who is looked upon as a mentor, and a coach and ensures unsurpassed customer service.


Responsibilities:

Sales/Store Growth

  • Drive client development activities among individual team members to cultivate new and existing clients.
  • Understand company sales strategies and goals to determine individual action plans for each sales team member on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Achieve store sales plan presented for the fiscal year by using available resources, set sales and performance objectives for the team, check in monthly with the team on progress, establish credibility with clients, and implement client-centered sales strategies by meeting with the sales team on strategy, training, and development
  • Assist in creating goals/sales KPIs for your sales team based on annual and monthly goals for your store location given to you by Ownership within Q1 of each fiscal year.
  • Pull reports to assist your staff in making sure their numbers are hit monthly
  • Teach staff how to pull reports to clientele and bring repeat customers back in
  • Manage new traffic flow of customers and ensure that appropriate sales staff is building and/or maintaining a meaningful book of business


Coaching/Mentoring Sales Staff:

  • Manage, coach, mentor, motivate, and develop the Sales team to consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual store sales plans as outlined in the sales growth initiative
  • Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the sales floor and managing client relationships personally by partnering with team members when necessary as servant leader
  • Exhibit a willingness to learn the technical aspects of all of our products and enthusiastically describe this, with confidence, to customers to establish the exclusive nature of our items, the quality and the value, and the culture of each brand
  • Become a Razny brand ambassador and take ownership of Company sales metrics and initiatives for your team
  • Hold weekly team meetings with your staff to communicate new initiatives/incentives/updated policies/or to just motivate them
  • Team meeting agendas should be written in weekly pipelines


Talent/Retention

  • Participate in the hiring and retention of sales team
  • Network and recruit to build a pipeline of highly skilled talent
  • Managers should be taking part in the recruitment of team members by visiting different retail stores, connecting on LinkedIn, and keeping relationships open to assist in the hiring of your store location
  • Champion company culture and values by consistently building rapport, establishing trust, and providing empathy to both staff and customers
  • Partner with new hires to assist in their transition into the company and create a safe space for them to embrace the company culture by lesioning between old and new staff members


Administrative:

  • Plan and manage the work schedules of sales employees while being mindful of blackout dates, Razny events, vacation availability, etc
  • Communicate and partner heavily with upper Management on monthly/annual sales goals and employee performance
  • Document written email communication weekly to Ownership and Upper Management on employee stand-out sales, updates on your store, and updates on your employees
  • Document written email communication once per month showcasing conversations with sales staff on year-to-date goals template provided to utilize
  • Review timecards weekly to approve pending punches, check missing time, and assist in the completion of a timely and accurate run of payroll for your direct employees
  • Partner with Human Resources if you are unsure how to do so

Service/Misc

  • Assist with opening and closing of store by inserting/removing store display inventory, maintaining signage, displays, and overall tidiness
  • Partner with Security personnel to follow opening and closing protocols that are in place
  • Partner with client service team management to streamline processes across all store locations
  • Hit all competencies/KPIs for Managers, provided in a separate document

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of retail and retail management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to train employees and be an effective salesperson
  • Strong customer service, management, and communication skills
  • Rolex and Patek experience is a plus
