The Role: Staff Scientist, Bioinformatics
As a Staff Scientist in Bioinformatics, you will play a key role in developing analysis solutions for Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS)-based assisted reproductive technology assays. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing novel tools and algorithms around genomics datasets.
- Collaborating with assay and marketing teams to devise innovative methods.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Python within a Linux environment.
- Experience in genomics dataset analysis, including CNV calling, linkage analysis, and variant calling.
- Exposure to algorithm development.
- Strong cross-functional communication abilities.
- Prior work experience in reproductive health or embryos is highly desirable.
- Previous exposure to a product-focused environment is highly desirable.
