Job Description:

The Distribution Center ("DC") Logistics Process Analyst role at OSJL analyzes warehouse processes, identifies improvement opportunities, and spearheads projects to implement, collaborating with warehouse staff, leadership, and the Management Information System ("MIS") department to ensure project success. Additionally, the role develops and deploys reports and analytics to guide DC and Logistics workload planning. By collaborating with DC and Logistics leadership, the role drives transparency and co-creates processes that achieve continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze warehouse processes (i.e., receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory) to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend process optimizations, including, but not limited to, technology solutions (i.e., Warehouse Management System).
  • Lead and manage warehouse management projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and track project plans, including, but not limited to, timeline, budget, and resources.
  • Monitor project progress, adjust as needed, and analyze results using key performance indicators.
  • Document processes, procedures, and business requirements.
  • Stay current on warehouse trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align improvements with corporate strategies, including, but not limited to, champions, support functions, and MIS.
  • Partner with technical teams (i.e., Process Engineer, PMO) to identify data flow and process issues.
  • Develop operational process flows for optimal processes and cross-training.
  • Create dashboards and reports for DC and Logistics transparency.
  • Engage with Business Intelligence, MIS, and leadership to promote standardization and automation.
  • Support project management and operational oversight (i.e., software, infrastructure).
  • Contribute to solution testing for implementation projects (i.e., WMS, Transportation Management System).
  • Track metrics to analyze process flow and productivity.
  • Monitor production areas, track performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Facilitate communication between corporate and DC teams.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
  • 2 or more years of experience in warehouse operations or project management is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs, Drive, Sites).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal) with strong presentation skills, bilingual a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize, work creatively, and solve problems under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, data flow, and integrations.
  • Positive change agent with a proven track record in project management (Six Sigma is preferred).


Work Environment:

  • Works primarily in a climate controlled environment within the Distribution Center with minimal safety and health hazard potential.
  • Works in an office environment remaining stationary at a desk, table, or computer workstation for extended periods of time. Frequently uses near vision for reading and computer tasks.
  • Hybrid work (minimum 3 days in office): Work may be completed outside of the company locations. The role is responsible for setting up a professional and ergonomically safe work environment and to be available during working hours. While working remotely, the role will be required to have reliable Internet connection.

The annual salary range for this position is between $62,000 - $70,000.Salary commensurates with experience.
