Maintenance Technician


Job Details

DCM Group is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team that services commercial properties within the St. Louis Metro Area.


Responsible to assist with the operation, troubleshooting, evaluation, and repairs on commercial buildings, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: lighting, plumbing systems, roofs, drains, shop, grounds equipment, and HVAC
  • Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wall paper, and can paint walls, piping, floors and equipment
  • Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities
  • Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned.
  • Possess good communication skills and comfort level communicating with customers
  • Provide own transportation
  • Ability to use technology such as smart phones, computers, web-based applications, building automation systems, etc.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver s license and good driving record with periodic checks
  • Comply with DCM Group Dress Code while working and maintain a neat and clean appearance while on the property at times other than working hours

IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of related maintenance experience
