Role Summary
We are seeking a highlyskilled and motivated Assembly Supervisor to oversee our assembly operations.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assembly processes,excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing a team to achieveproduction targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
As the AssemblySupervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising theactivities of assembly personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, andoptimizing production efficiency. You will plan and approve production schedules, approveinvoices, enforce policies, and ensure all staff are meeting quality standardswhile also maintaining safe working conditions.

What you'll be doing
Supervise and coordinate assembly operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Lead and motivate assembly team members to achieve daily production targets and quality goals.
Train, mentor, and develop assembly staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Analyze and optimize processes to identify ways to improve efficiency and increase productivity.
Monitor and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Implement process improvements to optimize assembly efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, quality control, and logistics to resolve production issues and improve processes.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels, labor hours, and equipment maintenance.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to assembly team members.
Identify and address any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Manage time off requests per business needs.
Manage break schedules.

To be successful in this role, youwill need:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in assembly operations, with at least 5 years in a true supervisory role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with assembly equipment and tools.
Ability to analyze production data and identify areas for improvement.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and make decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office and ERP systems.
PreferredQualifications:

Certification in Six Sigma or other relevant quality improvement methodologies.
Experience working in a regulated industry such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices.
Familiarity with safety regulations such as OSHA guidelines.
