Position: Mail Clerk (Data Entry)

Location: Fairfax VA (On-Site)

Job Type: 6 months Contract To Hire

Job description:

  • (Mailroom Clerk) C2H roles. Will need to be In Fairfax office 40 hours a week
  • Sorting and scanning letters, appeals, etc. that comes in the mail and then uploading into the LuminX system so the right folks can get eyes on it.
  • Client will train up on LuminX.
  • Most important skills: Data Entry and Mailroom background, Time mgmt, Accuracy
  • Needs be able to type 90 WPM for data entry. Excel skills: Will mostly be entering info into Excel.
  • First part of the day is sorting and scanning. And then uploading into LuminX system and doing data entry during later half of the day.
  • Will need to be in office no later than 7am. Interview process: One video interview

Job description:

The resource must report to the Fairfax office 40 hours/week.

PURPOSE:

Collects, sorts, and distributes mail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

30% Ships and receives office supplies and materials.

25% Weighs and prepares shipments.

25% Operates postage meter.

20% Picks-up packages inside and outside the office.

Education Level: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 1 year clerical experience or mail handling

Strong customer service orientation, Proficient

Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems., Proficient

Basic computer skills., Proficient

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal., Proficient
