Dining Services Intern

Job Description:

Assists bake shop regular staff with service, support, and sanitation tasks
which may include scooping cookie dough, decorating baked items,
pulling frozen dough, stocking supplies, and dishware; cleaning dishes,
pots and pans, and food service facilities, including furnishings; and
observing departmental standards for safety, sanitation, and personal
hygiene.

Qualifications

It is expected that students employed through this program will be
enrolled in a similar course or program at their high school or are
participating in a job readiness program. High school students should be
evaluated by Dining Services supervisory staff quarterly and/or in
congruence with their grading cycle. Students should also have a school
based advisor, sponsor or mentor who can regularly contact Dining
Services for more information and feedback as appropriate. Students
must possess a willingness and ability to support and promote a diverse
and inclusive campus community.
