Job Description: Technical Writer
Responsibilities:
The writer will be reviewing draft readme content provided by development teams. They ll review it for adherence to a template, they ll need to point out any content gaps. They ll review for clarity, concision and well as grammar and typos, and they must be able to make updates without changing the technical accuracy.
Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years strong technical writing experience, including deliverables for a developer (or highly technical) audience
Experience using Github, Git, markdown, and HTML 5 to produce technical documentation
Ability to communicate clearly and break down complex topics into a logical organizational structure
Familiarity with DevOps/SDLC
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (e.g., being Amazon Cloud Practitioner certified)
Experience with DevOps tooling and products
Very basic knowledge of scripting/programming and data structures
Experience working in an Agile environment
