Order Processing Administrator (Temporary Assignment)
In this role, you will be responsible for administer activities required to enter, update and arrange shipment for customer orders for a production unit in Kennewick, WA (140 employees) specializing in producing high precision titanium tube products for very demanding markets like Aerospace and Medical.
This is a temporary role which could last up to 6months. You will also be responsible to carry out general clerical duties in the Sales department. The ability to think proactively and adapt to changing priorities is critical.
Your Role:
- Entering and updating customer orders in ERP-LX system
- Distribute documents internally as well as directly to customers
- Prepare packing list and bills of lading
- Research and communicate customer order status.
- Contact customer and/or shipping companies to arrange pickup and notify internal stakeholders.
- Generate invoices and customs documents.
- Coordinate and perform mail or delivery of outgoing correspondence and packages.
- Serve as backup for sales and administrative functions.
- Perform general clerical and administrative projects as requested.
About You:A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Post-secondary education is a definite asset. Alleima Special Metals LLC does business with the Department of Defense, the Defense Agencies. This position will require U.S. citizenship and must be able to pass security clearance screenings as required by customers. You have proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Suite and general computer skills. You handle confidential information appropriately, ensure security and discretion.
You are detail-oriented, proactive, and have a proven history of successfully working on a project from start to finish. You take a hands-on approach to solving problems and delivering solutions. Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent, as are your organizational and trouble-shooting skills.
What you can expect from usThe salary range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour and this position is eligible for overtime.
