JOB OVERVIEW
Care Indeed is looking for enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and skilled professionals with a can-do attitude to join our team as full-time Certified Nursing Assistants. As a member of our team, you will communicate with clients and their families, doctors, and medical staff; and monitor clients situations on an ongoing basis to ensure that changing needs are addressed. Strong management, leadership, and problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and continuously improve are essential for success in this role. A demonstrated background in education skills, knowledge, and experience in aging and care management is also necessary to provide quality care management services.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide personal care assistant services to patients as identified by the agency in the plan of services per agency policies and procedures
- Assist with personal care activities (ADLs) and IADLs allowing patients independence to tolerance as indicated in the service plan
- Personal care and hygiene
- Universal precautions
- Locomotion/ambulation/fall prevention oversight
- Nutritional support, meal preparation, feeding assistance
- Bed mobility and positioning, the range of motion exercises
- Toileting
- Continence care
- Dressing and undressing
- Bathing
- Skincare
- Linen changes
- Laundry of patients clothing and bedding
- Social and emotional support
- Documentation
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Drivers license
- Bachelors degree
- Medication administration: 1 year (Required)
- Skilled nursing facility: 1 year (Preferred)
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Active CNA certification with a minimum 1 year of experience
- Demonstrate support for the agencys mission statement to promote quality, efficient, comprehensive, and effective patient services
- Proper use and care of equipment
- Practice safety, universal precaution, and infection control measures
- Availability during and after business hours, and for on-call rotation on weekends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eagerness to learn.
- Unwavering commitment to ethical work standards in all interactions with clients and employees.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, smartphones, photocopiers/scanners, shredders, and filing cabinets. Risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens-limited

- The position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines.
- It requires minimal lifting of office records and printouts.
- It is primarily a desk job that essentially involves sitting, standing, stooping, and walking, as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication
- Travel is required; use of personal car to local, out-of-town seminars, conferences, or meetings
