As the

PR & Content Specialist

Youll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified based on having

3-5 years of experience

in doing the following things:
Implement and oversee integrated approach to content strategy from matrix development to templates, best practices, process flow of publishing cycle
Plan and execute events and promotions on behalf of our clients, including webinars, trade shows, and product launches.
Create and maintain content style guides, voice and mindset guides, quality checklists
Social Media Management and Content Creation
Collaborate with content analysts and Account Management to ensure overall performance and ROI
Deliver communications support to clients
We train our team to help them succeed, and everyone on our team helps with our success. In this role, youll need to come to the table with the following skills and qualifications:
Bachelors Degree, focus in Agricultural Communications, Marketing, Journalism or similar
Exceptional writing ability including technical, feature, promotional and social media copy
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage concurrent projects and deadlines
Time management and organization
Ability to travel to various conferences and tradeshows
Agency experience an asset
Agriculture knowledge a very strong asset
Writing and editing in AP Style
Experience working in PM tools is an asset
Knowledge of Meltwater or Sprout Social
Ability to upload and optimize content to websites (WordPress)
Basic knowledge of SEO concepts
Proficient across all major social media channels (organic and paid)
Team player and a critical thinker
