As a Recreation Assistant in a long-term care facility, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by assisting with recreational and leisure activities. Your primary responsibility is to create a positive and engaging environment that promotes socialization, mental stimulation, and physical well-being for residents. The Recreation Assistant works closely with the Recreation Director to plan and implement a variety of programs tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of the residents.

Now Hiring: Activities Assistant

Responsibilities (Activities Assistant) :

Invite and assist residents in the activity of their choice

Document in residents charts according to State and Federal regulations

Assist in planning, layout, and distribution of monthly resident newsletter

Assist in scheduling movies, planning activities, and providing games for residents

Deliver mail, flowers, and other items to residents in a timely manner

Knowledge of and complies with the Corporate Compliance Program

Qualifications (Activity Assistant) :

• High School Diploma

• Activity Assistant experience preferred
