Job Details
As a School Bus Monitor you will be responsible for ensuring safety on the bus is adhered to and maintained at all times. Our ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude along with the ability to get along with varying personalities. In addition our candidate must be able to thrive in a fast paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
-Ensure Safety is maintained on the bus at all times.
-Check to ensure safety of all students.
-Assist students in entering and exiting the bus.
-Maintain professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
-Liaise with parents on an as needed basis.
-Assist in maintaining cleanliness of assigned bus at all times.
-Monitor all passengers at all times to ensure safety is maintained throughout trips.
-Occasionally attend field trips and special events to ensure passenger safety.
Qualifications:
Requirements
-Strong customer service skills.
-Passion for working with children.
-Must be over 18 years of age
-Strong communication skills with the ability to provide effective resolution
-Constantly aware of surroundings to ensure that passenger safety is maintained at all times
-Ability to successfully complete all required training
-Ability to pass a background check.
