Job Description **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Responsible for direction and delegation of responsibilities to Security Shift Supervisors, Senior Security Officers and Security Officers.
* Responsible for conducting interviews and evaluating security staff.
* Responsible for overseeing staff development, motivation and training.
* Recommends documents and issues discipline.
* Responsible for reviewing and submitting all shift paperwork.
* Communicates all policy and procedure changes, special events and other activities to security personnel.
* Responsible for the efficient scheduling of security personnel as required.
* Responsible to develop, implement and ensure maintenance of a system that complies with Company and Departmental Procedures, Internal Controls, VLEU and Delaware State Racing Commission Regulations.
* Responsible for positive interactions with VLEU, Local Law Enforcement Agencies and Delaware State Racing Commission.
* Promotes outstanding interdepartmental and customer relations.
* Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
* Performs all other duties as assigned.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS:**
* Three (3) or more years of security supervisory experience (gaming industry preferred).
* Must be able to successfully complete and maintain the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery.
* Must have a valid drivers license.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business including evenings, weekends and holidays.
