We are seeking a talented Principal UI Engineer to join our dynamic team in Boston, MA. As a Principal UI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user interface of our flagship products, contributing to the design and development of intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional interfaces. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive innovation in the realm of enterprise data management.Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and implementation of user interfaces for our SaaS products, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and software engineers to translate product requirements into high-quality UI designs and features.Utilize modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) to build responsive and scalable UI components.Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members to foster growth and maintain coding standards.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI development, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance usability, performance, and accessibility of our products.Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to deliver timely and high-quality software solutions.
Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.8+ years of professional experience in UI development, with a focus on building complex web applications and interfaces.Proven expertise in frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, Vue.js).Strong understanding of UI design principles, usability best practices, and accessibility standards.Experience with responsive design techniques and cross-browser compatibility.Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Prior experience in the SaaS industry or Enterprise Data Management space is a plus.Effective communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
