J&M Global Solutions (J&M) provides program and project management support for emergency management activities across a range of mission areas. We are recruiting dynamic project managers in the mitigation space who are able to work on-site in Alexandria, VA.
What the successful candidates will bring
- Bachelors degree preferred and 5+ years of direct project management experience
- Provide dynamic team leadership, supervision, and guidance to not just supervise staff but help them grow and thrive in their positions
- A strategic thinker who has assisted federal clients navigating change
- Experience with both the soft and hard program management functions (e.g., EVM, acquisition lifecycle)
- An organizer who doesn t let anything slip through the cracks and always meets their deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and shift priorities
- Team oriented- fostering and maintaining solid working relationships with/across team and with clients is key
- Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility as part of a growing and evolving organization
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, and Adobe
- Demonstrate growth mindset with willingness to collaborate and develop subject matter expertise in support of programs
