Tech Support Specialist


Job Details

Yetter Coleman is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic technical support specialist with at least 5 years of litigation support/trial technician experience. Responsibilities include trial support, such as pre-trial and post-trial logistics, war room, and courtroom setup. This person will also be responsible for assisting with the technical support of software applications and network systems, including maintaining systems and troubleshooting technical problems in at the firm.


Essential Responsibilities


Coordinate logistics for local and out-of-town trials, including evaluating hotels to ensure the hotels meet our residency and IT requirements.

Order supplies for trial.

Arrange for transportation of IT equipment to hotel and/or courthouse.

Prepare equipment for shipping.

Set up a war room for trial and maintain war room readiness during the trial.

Test connectivity in the war room and courthouse for trial.

Set up and maintain equipment and supplies for trial.

Provide technical support during trial both in the war room and courtroom.

Provide technical support in the virtual courtroom.

Run errands for the trial team.

Utilize, maintain, and troubleshoot litigation support software applications, databases and networks.

Function as the first point of contact for technical issues in the office or at trial.

Act as liaison/primary contact with MSP for technical issues, including after-hours requests.

Assist with conference room meeting technology, including AV needs.

Maintain inventory of all IT equipment and make sure hardware drivers are current.

Assist the E-Discovery team with data transfer as needed.


Education, Experience, Skills


Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Advanced technical skills with computer networks and a Microsoft Windows operating system.

Experience with Cisco and Webex a plus.

Experience with database and spreadsheet applications: MS Access, SQL, etc.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint, Teams, and document management systems (iManage).

Proficiency in the use of e-discovery and deposition transcript tools (Relativity, Trial Director).

Flexibility to work overtime.

Travel required.

Previous trial or litigation support firm experience required.
