One of Oregon's top employers has engaged our firm in their search for a Customer Care Agent. The person in this role will be responsible for a wide range of Customer Service duties. Job Title: Customer Care Agent
Salary: $18/hr during training, then bumped to $18.75
Location: Portland Metro Area - 3 weeks in person training then remote afterwards
Requirements - What Matters Most
* Ability to deescalate and empathize with customers while assisting them
* Technologically savvy with the ability to move between multiple computer programs
* Ability to type 35 WPM
* Viable internet connection
* 6+ months of customer service or call center experience
* Strong written, verbal, and active listening skills
Key Responsibilities
* Support customers through a multitude of scenarios, including tracking orders, order status, cancellations, troubleshooting a wide variety of the company's products and returns
* Chat with customers over the phone and through video chat as necessary
* Uncover solutions and present them to customers using positive language over the phone and via written communication
* Determine technical issues with products and follow processes to determine the correct solution
