Were are a general contractor in with offices in Northern Virginia. We have projects all over the Virginia, Maryland and DC area and are looking for a dependable, motivated person to join our team as a Construction Foreman.
Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
- Opens and closes jobsite daily.
- Ensures all on site personnel follow Monarc safety protocols.
- Possesses a detailed understanding of the plans and specs.
- Understands the project schedule logic and critical path. Manages all trades to meet or beat schedule.
- Manages Monarc self-perform crews and participates as a crew member installing work.
- Maintains jobsite housekeeping to Monarc standards.
- Communicates work plan and schedule to subcontractors and self-perform labor force.
- Manages self-perform work to meet or beat the project budget.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Able to lead and motivate
- Ability to read construction plans
- Strong verbal communication
- Organizational Skills
Experience Required:
- 5+ years in the field
- Knowledgeable and/or familiar with construction means and methods pertinent to our work
- Understanding safety and quality standards
