We are a dynamic CAD/CAM software company based in Massachusetts and we have an exciting job opportunity for an enthusiastic CAM/CAD technician to join our team!
EFICAD holds a strong position in the development of woodworking / furniture software from design (CAD) to manufacturing (CAM) with customers and partners in 60+ countries to distribute and support our solutions in a highly technical environment. EFICAD America, assumes the distribution in the Americas and in the context of growth, we are looking for someone who will take care of the different technical steps when implementing its software within the organization of its customers.
How you will contribute.
Implementation and Training
- Manage multi-stage projects from start to completion. Responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects
- Work with multiple customer parties including Engineering, Manufacturing and Management to understand requirements
- Configure software to meet customer requirements
- Post Processor support and customization
- Conduct training for software end users
Support
- Provide support to customers in the use of our products
- Troubleshoot complex configuration and software questions
What you bring.
- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing, machining, CNC programming
- CAM system experience and post processor customization required
- CAD (SolidWorks preferred) system experience, data management and computer science skills are a plus
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and long-term projects
- Ability to travel up to 40%, including international when required
