We have an opportunity for a talented Marketing professional for our three on-site sister companies: Cape Yachts, South Wharf Yacht Yard & Marina, and Nauti Jane's Boat Club.
We are a Privately Owned Best-in-class Boat Service and Sales company established in 1986. Setting us apart from the Box Stores and Mom & Pops of the industry is that we are a Boutique Firm consisting of 50 Service and Sales Professionals that are hyper focused on our Customer's Experience with a full-service boat yard and marina and the skilled Technicians to back up what we sell, the promises we make, and most importantly, to deliver on what today's discriminating customers require.
Position Profile
Our Events & Social Media Coordinator has two main functions;
1. Responsible for marketing and advertising efforts across social media marketing campaigns including editorial content and direct campaigns, and
2. Responsible for planning and execution our many events we host including on site promotional events, boat shows, and off-site promotional events. You will work closely with our marketing and sales Teams, our various Team Leaders, and report directly to our Sales & Marketing Director.
This position requires a creative, artistic, detail-oriented doer who strives to be an expert and places efforts and quality of work above all else.
This position is a full-time, year-round position. We will not consider candidates working remotely as we feel this position must be within the fabric of our Team and culture.
As our Events & Social Media Coordinator, your duties include:
Develop & execute a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with the brand s objectives
Own planning of editorial & content calendar to create weekly social postings for all three companies
Find new opportunities to shoot new content to be used to create videos and social media posts
Working alongside the South Wharf and Cape Yachts team to come up with and execute boat show booth presentations including Boston and Newport Shows
Assisting Sales & Marketing Director to develop, execute and promote monthly events for our clients and prospects
Partner with Digital Marketing Specialist to create a cohesive digital content plan that integrates email strategy with social media strategy
Planning boat show specific collateral
Organize and maintain marketing POS signage and promotional items
Spearhead maintaining and monitoring co-op advertising with vendors
Working with local community businesses, organizations and groups on events and other promotional efforts
Qualifications:
Minimum college degree in Marketing
Boating or yachting experience preferred
