Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) - Environmental Testing

Exciting and growing asbestos testing company in the LA market looking for a Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) to join our team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Environmental Surveys to assess and identify potential hazards with asbestos, lead, and mold
  • Conduct indoor air quality assessments and site monitoring
  • Safely navigate to and from job sites and laboratory facilities
  • Monitor and document ongoing projects to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing survey s findings, sample results and monitoring activities
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients and regulatory agencies as needed


Job Qualifications

  • Certified as a Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) with current AHERA certifications
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in conducting environmental surveys and sample collection
  • Able to lift a min of 35 lbs and ability to climb ladders, stairs, and crawl in small space to access areas such as attics, roofs and crawlspaces
  • Valid Driver License with a good driving record
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team
  • Proficiency


Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Additional certifications in environmental testing or related fields preferred
