Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Business Applications to oversee the implementation of their new ERP system. Reporting to the CIO, the successful candidate will play a critical role in stabilizing their technology environment, executing major initiatives and reducing dependency on third-party consultants.
Director of Business Applications Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of ERP projects, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful integration
- Drive initiatives to stabilize and optimize the technology environment, including ERP, manufacturing systems and supply chain management tools
- Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively to meet business objectives
- Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements and regulatory guidelines throughout the project lifecycle
Director of Business Applications Requirements:
- Proven experience in launching ERP projects, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical background with experience in backend database management, systems analysis and data flows
- Ability to adapt to change and drive innovation, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders, managing vendor relationships and leading cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
