Job SummaryHazard Community & Technical College invites applications for the position of Senior Administrative Assistant. The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the President's Office suite.
Initial review of applications will begin April 22nd, 2024.
Job Duties:Duties to include, but are not limited to:
Assists the President's Office Suite, President/Dean of Advancement/Director of Marketing
Serve as the front office manager being responsible for the overall operation of the front office. This includes supervising the front switchboard/work-study staff, handling guest inquiries and ensuring that the front office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Maintain calendar of activities, coordinate, schedule, and confirm arrangements for various meetings and conferences, and board meetings, which may include preparing agendas and meeting packets, coordinating room/equipment setup, coordinating food/refreshments, attending meetings, recording/transcribing meeting minutes, distributing documentation, maintaining records, or other tasks as necessary.
Type, transcribe, proofread, edit, and complete various forms, reports, correspondence, change orders, invoices, travel reimbursements,
Perform general/clerical tasks, which may include making copies, distributing documentation, maintaining appropriate office supplies, preparing purchase requisitions for supplies as well as appropriate college memberships in various organizations.
Assist with organizing internal events and special events/fundraising events.
Monitor and coordinate expenditures, maintain budgets, budget processing, and gift processing
Maintain confidentiality of departmental documentation and issues.
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:Associate's Degree plus three year's related experience, or equivalent.
