Our client, a leader in the Medical Devices industry, is seeking a junior level Software Test Engineer for their surgical navigation and robotics team. The primary day-to-day work will be performing manual testing of software (and some hardware) systems. Due to the nature of the work, the position requires the person to be onsite (no exceptions). Please note: This is not a programming role - it is mainly doing system/software testing. See below for other details!

Responsibilities:
- Handle the manual testing of systems (both software and hardware)
- Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.
- Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
- Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
- Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
- Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years of relevant experience
Nice to Have:
- Python, Matlab, and/or Linux are a plus but not required
- Experience with JavaScript, Cypress, and/or web based software may be helpful but is not required
