Their team is committed to excellence, creativity, and collaboration, and They are currently seeking a talented CADD Drafter BIM to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
As a CADD Drafter BIM, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Drawing floor plans, blueprint drawings, and mechanical drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Creating technical drawings in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
- Understanding and adhering to federal, state, and local building codes and regulations.
- Developing proficiency in drawing quickly and efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Generating accurate schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings for various components of construction projects.
- Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to produce detailed drawings of buildings and structures.
- Creating technical drawings of interior spaces, including walls, staircases, railings, doors, and other architectural elements.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to create and manage digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of buildings and infrastructure.
- Assisting in the coordination and integration of design information among various project stakeholders.
- Participating in project meetings and providing technical support as needed.
- Staying updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices related to CAD and BIM technologies.
- Supporting quality control efforts by reviewing drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A degree or diploma in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, with a strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate drawings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with BIM software and concepts is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in architectural drafting or construction documentation is a plus.
