Role - Program Manager- Food Services Operations.
Location - 700 8th Avenue, FLOAT POOL-HERC HOTEL, Manhattan, New York, NY USA 10036
Pay - $50/hr to $57/hr
Contract Length - 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Skills - 1-2 years of experience in a management position, with a proven track record of people management and process implementation
Background in an operations role
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to keep directives clear and create cohesion between all F&B program stakeholders.
Job Details - NYC Health and Hospitals (H+H) has been tasked to operationalize and manage several Humanitarian Emergency Response and Relief Center (HERRC) facilities to offer direct service provision, resour ce navigation, and temporary respite for single adults, adult families, a nd families with children seeking asylum in the United States. The Hospitality and Logistics (H&L) team within H&H plays a pivotal role in sourcing essential supplies, overseeing the supply chain logistics, managing laundry services, and coordinating the distribution of meals to HERRC guests.
The primary responsibilities of the Food Services Operations Specialist role are to provide catering program oversight, help implement policies and procedures to maximize guest satisfaction and reduce costs and manage onsite Hospitality & Logistics ( H&L ) team operations.
Required Certifications - Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree
3+ years of management experience.
Background/Experience in catering
Familiarity with excel
