Summary:

ValidaTek is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect for a large, complex IT platform service with multiple task orders. This role will design and implement distributed systems, scalable workloads, big data, and DevSecOps software in a government cloud environment. This Senior Solutions Architect will analyze customer requirements and lead the design and development of a distributed system in a secured government cloud environment that includes scalable workloads, big data, and DevSecOps software. This position will develop and maintain the cloud network, security, and systems documentation.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:

  • DoD Top Secret Clearance - required.
  • At least 8 years of experience with large scale, complex, enterprise platform services in commercial/hybrid cloud environments. Must also have experience maintaining these services in a federal government environment.
  • A bachelors degree in a related IT or engineering field.
  • Experience implementing Gitops workflows, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) models, and automated test suites.
  • Experience implementing containerized COTS, cloud-native, and open-source solutions on cloud platforms.
  • The ability to explain complex, technical tasks in easily understood language to non-technical users.
  • The demonstrated ability to influence decision making with a diverse set of customers and leaders.
