The Role:


  • As the Brand Director at Ingrid+Isabel, you'll be the primary storyteller for our portfolio of brands, embodying our beliefs and values to captivate audiences and cut through the clutter. Your role will be to champion and actualize our brand identity across all company channels, both owned and earned.
  • We're seeking an individual who delves into market dynamics, possesses deep insights into our target demographic (expecting and new moms), and leads with innovation, creativity, operational excellence, and independent thought. This role calls for a highly collaborative leader who can orchestrate impactful and strategic brand initiatives, working closely with internal teams and agency partners.
  • You will oversee all aspects of brand strategy and marketing, including overall brand and product strategies, packaging, digital, including but not limited to owned social media, the brand elements of our website, influencer marketing, and PR. It will be your responsibility to ensure our brand voice resonates with the right audience, delivered at the right time and in the right manner, both externally and internally. Additionally, you'll drive our PR strategy and nurture our agency relationship to ensure alignment with our brand initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Brand, Communications, Social Media & Creative
  • Develop and maintain a cohesive brand vision and strategy for each Ingrid+Isabel brand to guide functional teams.
  • Utilize customer insights gleaned from research and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead brand expression across all touchpoints, including visual identity, messaging, photography, packaging, marketing collateral, and digital platforms.
  • You'll manage our owned social media channels, such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, while spearheading influencer and cause marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with agency partners to devise and implement strategic PR/Communications plans.
  • Oversee organic social media endeavors on primary platforms to boost awareness and engagement.
  • Manage a diverse team of creative professionals (full-time, contractors, and agency partners), nurturing a high-performing culture aligned with quarterly objectives.


You Are Likely a Strong Candidate if:


  • You possess over 10 years of experience in roles leading brand, creative, PR, social media and influencer marketing. Ideally, you have experience within the multichannel apparel sector, with exposure to retail, wholesale, and e-commerce.
  • You naturally advocate for the brand and possess profound insights into the psychographic and behavioral attributes of expecting and new moms, serving as the voice of our customer internally and externally.
  • You adeptly blend insights and data with storytelling, narrative development, and messaging.
  • You are a creative and strategic marketer passionate about social media and influencer marketing, leveraging these channels to enhance brand awareness, craft compelling narratives, and achieve business objectives.
  • You excel in creating and executing breakthrough PR strategies.
  • You have a track record of designing impactful experiential marketing programs and cause marketing initiatives to raise awareness for new brands.
  • You collaborate effectively with creative teams, inspiring, briefing, and communicating with them to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • You are an expert at managing agencies to ensure alignment with our brand communication and direction.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced lean company environment with minimal direction and excel at building and managing high-performing marketing teams.
