WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE


Job Details

We are looking for a hardworking Warehouse Associate that will work diligently with team members to coordinate activities and operations of the warehouse to ensure the warehouse and yard run smoothly and efficiently to complete daily assignments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintains a positive, respectful, professional attitude and a willingness to learn
Preserves a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and storage areas organized
Shipping/Receiving; loading and offloading of product, supplies, tools, and equipment
Parts assembly, inventory stocking, cycle counts, and general housekeeping duties
Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of supplies and materials
Enforces inventory controls by verifying inventory records, purchase orders, and conducting inventories
Drives forklift, company vehicles (Non-CDL) as parts runner and to fuel up
Maintain Fleet trucks and equipment; to include completing preventive maintenance and arranging for repairs
Building and Facilities maintenance and upkeep
Performs other related duties as directed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
Fluent oral and written English communication skills
Read with comprehension complex instructions, correspondence, invoices, and packing lists
Strong mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, divide in units of measure
Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Highly organized and able to maintain building and facilities to ensure a safe work environment
Possess a strong ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities at once
Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, be reliable, punctual, and contribute to the team effort

WORKING CONDITIONS
Noise level in the work environment is usually low most of the day
Ability to move around the warehouse, climb ladders, reach for shelved items, squat down, and handle tight spaces
Able to lift and carry 30 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Must be over 18 years of age
Possess a valid State Driver's License and a clean driving record
Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screening

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2 + years' work experience in a warehouse setting
Associates of Arts degree preferred
Ability to obtain a Forklift Certification/Re-certification training offered by company
Solar and Electrical knowledge and/or experience
