Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support the attorneys within our dynamic litigation practice group. The position is a hybrid role that will be based in our Long Beach, CA office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, the ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing filing deadlines, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys and contribute to the success of our litigation team.


Responsibilities:

  • comprehensive administrative support to partners and associates within the litigation practice group, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence, adhering to established formatting and style guidelines.
  • in organizing and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring all documents are properly labeled, indexed, and stored.
  • incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail, promptly and professionally.
  • attorneys in organizing and maintaining case files, including gathering, organizing, and summarizing relevant documents and evidence.
  • and track case deadlines, ensuring all filings, hearings, and other obligations are met in a timely manner.
  • with attorneys and legal staff to prepare for depositions, hearings, trials, and other proceedings, including scheduling, logistics, and document preparation.
  • as a point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and responding to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • in drafting engagement letters, fee agreements, and other client-related documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • client meetings, including scheduling, preparing meeting materials, and arranging conference rooms or virtual meeting spaces.


Qualifications:

  • degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • least five (5) years of experience as a legal administrative assistant or in a similar role within a law firm or legal department.
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and legal software applications; experience with iManage preferred.
  • with California and federal filing and litigation procedures and terminology is required.
  • organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in proofreading and document formatting.
  • communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • hours are typically Monday through Friday; occasional overtime may be required during periods of high caseload or tight deadlines.
  • require occasional travel for court appearances, client meetings, or other business-related purposes.



The estimated base salary range for this position is $85,000-$95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
