to join our team based in Dublin 15 on our

Evening

Shift,

Monday -Thursday, 8 hours per day, from 15.15 to 23.15. Friday 7 hours per day, from 14.15 to 21.15As a Warehouse Group Leader, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations by inventory control procedures. Your role involves coordinating warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining a safe and organized environment.Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily shift-start meetings.Monitor team performance and suggest improvements to procedures as needed.Train new warehouse operatives within your area of responsibility.Supervise warehouse staff, including tasks like picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.Plan and prioritize work assignments to optimize workflow and productivity.Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment.Managing and directing the team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance their performance.Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold warehouse cleanliness.Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance metrics.Maintain high-security standards within the warehouse.Assist in minimizing processing time for received/delivery materials and recommend improvement strategies.Ensure all necessary tools and equipment (RPPT /Forklift) are in proper working order.Provide feedback to the inventory control supervisor for problem-solving.Ensure the accuracy of shipping and receiving documents.Identify team members' performance issues and strengths.Comply with company security policies.Operate fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery.Support the MH/IC team with inventory management activities.Work overtime as assigned.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills:

Strong supervisory and team leadership skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in IT, especially with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, databases, and warehouse systems.Analytical and numerical skills.Good planning abilities to meet targets and deadlines.Attention to detail.Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-3 years of warehouse experience.Previous leadership or supervisory experience in warehouse or logistics.Proficiency in warehouse management systems.Knowledge of inventory management best practices, including cycle counts and audits.Familiarity with health and safety regulations.Strong problem-solving skills and quick decision-making ability.Physical capability to lift heavy objects and perform warehouse tasks.Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborative work.Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
