To continue our growth, we have an excellent opportunity to hire an Assembler 1 at our manufacturing facility in Clare, MI.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
* Utilizes blue prints to assemble components.
* Ensures Quality Auditor is called in to verify work.
* Bolts, clamps, fastens components according to drawing specifications.
* Performs light tacking/welding when required.
* Can read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
* Understands how too safely test operate equipment to verify assembly was done properly.
* Uses hand power tools such as grinders, belt sanders, die grinders, wrenches, vice grips, ect.
* Is proficient using fabrication measurement tools (squares, tape measures, levels, magnets).
* Utilizes QC packets to determine build quantity.
* Grease all points after assembly prior to moving product out of area.
* Repair, disassemble and reassemble refurb components.
* Operates forklifts, hoists, and cranes.
* Touches up areas of paint to ensure proper quality after assembly.
* Responsible for executing and supporting the quality system and procedures in the effort for continuous improvement.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
This is an entry level position and all training will happen on site. Applicants must have a high attention to detail, be motivated and have great attendance. The successful candidate will be to carry out detail instructions, have good communication skills, and be able to work cooperatively with line managers and employees.
