Career Transitions is supporting a global manufacturer and distributor of electrical and mechanical systems used in specialty vehicles. They have an opening on their team for a Territory Sales manager. This highly compensated role is focused on the RV industry; thus, the ideal candidate should have a strong network within the Elkhart Region and familiar with other national manufacturers of specialty vehicles.
Candidate must have a demonstrated record of growing and retaining business within an assigned territory; developing strategic sales plans and forecasts; and working collaboratively with Engineering and Product Development to stay abreast of market trends and demands.
Sales Manager Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Grow existing account sales through in-person product training by adding consultative value
- Working in conjunction with the Global Sales Manager to develop sales plans and forecasts
- Developing presentation and quotations aimed at expanding market share and growing client base
- Strong self-starter, able to manage their own time and schedule (candidate will work remotely)
- Strong networking, sales and marketing skills are required
- Indepth knowledge of the RV market is a must
- Up to 60% travel (local/regional - 75%, national - 25%)
