The LEGO Group is building a 1.7 million-square-foot precision production facility just south of Richmond in Chesterfield, Virginia. Over the next few years, we'll be hiring 1,761 people in a range of professional and production positions. The people who join our team will have a unique opportunity to grow with our organization. Job Description This position keeps standardization and manufacturing processes at the levels required to meet production demand. Core Responsibilities: Lead expert in manufacturing packaging processes and machinery.Standardization of machinery.Continuous improvement in machinery and processes.Production support.Leads the engineering and technical initiatives to tackle the opportunities in safety, quality, delivery, cost areas.Responsible for production platforms.Build procedures and visual aids.Engineering changes and Installation of equipment.Contact with suppliers and contractors.Improvement projects.Build and update reports and metrics.Mapping and standardization of the critical parameters of equipment.Multi-functional and cross-site knowledge sharing.Cooperation with all local and global departments. Are you up for the challenge? +3 years in Engineering.Microsoft Office, Auto CAD, Minitab.Six sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.Lean Manufacturing knowledge.Experience working with 2D and 3D software.The base salary for this position generally ranges between $ $90,000 USD- $110,00 USD .
